I have the honour to state that the

Peninsular and Oriental Co., have claimed the sum of £57 . 7.2

for the passage of Mr. P. N. H. Jones from Hongkong to London

per S. 3. *Sardinia" and the sum of £145 4 O for the passages of Police Sergeants Adlington and Cashman from Hongkong to London and back per S. S. *Delhi", and to enquire whether

we may pay the amounts so claimed. The dates of embarkation

were May 5th. and 14th. respectively.
